About the Blogger

Ahh, hey! I’m Jade and I’m from a little corner of the world known as West Norfolk. I’m a married, twenty something mum to two boys; Toby, who’s 4.5 and Teddy who’s almost 3 (sob!). We moved into our forever home in August 2016 – a 1919 Edwardian build which retains some original features – which we’ll slowly be renovating, refurbishing and redecorating over the next few years and I’m here to share our ordinary journey to an extraordinary house.

Interior design has been a bit of a hidden passion for me. It’s not something I’ve shown an explicit interest in but I have fawned, many a time, over gorgeous rooms and all things for the home. Now we’ve settled down nicely in our house it’s time for me to bring out something that I love and create a house and home for our family and friends.

I’m rarely seen without a cup of tea in one hand and white chocolate in the other as they’re the two things I just can not resist, although I do love a good biscuit (not fussy!). I can’t think of anything better than cooking a good meal from scratch, hanging out with the boys and playing netball – not all at the same time obviously. We love to ski and I’m a wishful traveller so watch this space!

If you’d like to work together, or have any questions, just drop me a line!

I’ve read loads of your blog posts but I’ve never visited your about page before – I love all your pics.

Not long to go now before baby No.2 will be featuring too – I’m so jealous!

What fantastic records blogs are, they hold so many memories and the potential for so much laughs in years to come. Also incredible how so many women seems to have started blog early on in their motherhood journey. I started mine during my maternity leave.

Thanks for joining in with #SoMeBlogLuv (formerly #SoFAL).
