We’ve all got that one type of pen we favour over any other. For some of us it’s a ballpoint, for others it’s a marker and maybe for the more classic of us it’s a calligraphy pen – only you know!
Tixx is a new range of pens from Platignum that I have been testing out first hand. With Christmas coming up you’ll be needing the perfect pen for writing out all your cards and tags.
Tixx By Platignum
Tixx are super stylish, disposable pens that do the job but they are of the highest quality. The ink is super quick to dry which is amazing for you left handers out there who struggle with smudges and smears (my hubby included!) and I think this is one of their best selling points.
The ink can go for miles, literally, and you can always see just how much you’ve got left and they’re ideal for any occasion! There are four different types so let’s take a closer look!
I remember having to sign the boys’ birth certificates and our marriage certificate with a fountain pen. I was absolutely fine because I’m right handed but they are a bit scratchy and difficult for left handers. Jamie dreaded it and had to practise a few times before he signed any official documents.
This fountain pen works well whichever way you use it, even if you hold it in a totally obscure way, and the ink is so quick to dry that there’s literally no time to smear with the side of your hand. It’s perfect for left handers, young children who are just getting to grips with forming letters and professionals who are looking for the ultimate pen!
Rollerball Point Pens
There are two pens which fall under this category; bullet point and needle point. Both give a really fluid and smooth flow of writing and that’s down to it having liquid ink, rather than a solid block that runs through the case.
All the above pens come in blue and black ink.
Hybrid Ball Point
This pen has the softest grip, comes in 5 colours and is so comfortable to use. If you had gel pens in school, then this is the adult equivalent and they’re so much better. They’re not scented or glittered but they’re perfect for marking out different things on the calendar and they’ve helped so much with my blog planning!
Combining the best of both inks; ball point pens and gel ink rollerball – it’s a fast drying pen and a delight to write with.
If you haven’t already got your hands on a Tixx pen then why not? They’re a top rival for bigger brands and, personally, are much better value for money! They’re currently available from Amazon, Ryman and WHSmith.
