If there’s one thing I want to do this year, it’s to take more photos of the boys and write down more of our memories. I feel like my blog kind of started losing it’s way toward the end of last year and I lost sight of why I had started it in the first place. I’ve taken a huge break over Christmas to take a step back and find out what I want my blog to be about. I am still “niche-less” because I want to feel like I can write about anything I want to, without trying to find a way to make things fit.
One of the other things I want to do this year is to take part in more ‘linkys’ and so Donna’s ‘Living Arrows’ one fits perfectly. A picture of each of the boys each week and it makes me link up to something. So here goes…
To kick off the first week, both of these photos are from the outdoors but are from different times over the last week. This one of Toby was taken at Sandringham and, if you couldn’t tell, he’s playing hide and seek. His new favourite thing is to count to ten (fee, four, six, eight, nime, ten.. ready not, here come!) and then come and find one of us. Or he’ll go and hide, usually in the same place five times in a row. His cheeky little face poking out from behind this tree just makes me beam!
Teddy is becoming increasingly independent and doesn’t usually want help doing something unless he’s really struggling. This picture was taken during our post Christmas break at Center Parcs in Elveden and he was all over the big kids’ equipment with no problems. The half concentration and half smile on his face says it all.
Both of the boys are very much outdoor guys and these pictures have captured them perfectly. I can’t wait to see how they grow over the next year!
