Review | Holster Brands Holders

If it’s one thing I need in my house, and my life, it’s organisation and storage! And I even need them for the little things that don’t really have a place – like my straighteners!

New to the UK is “Holster Brands” and they want to change the way that we store the little things without having to have permanent attachments on the walls, units or doors! They want to make our lives around the home easier, tidier and safer. So do they do the job?

Holsters are really practical and can be used all over the house without the need for nails, screws or glue. They grip on to any dry, flat surface with the power of grip by expelling any air and creating a temporary bond between itself and the surface it’s being placed on. All you have to do is press it down as firmly as you can and test by pulling the pocket downward. To remove it all you need to do it lift it up. Easy peasy. Textured surfaces are really unlikely to work as you’re unable to expel all the air.

All Holster Brands products are heat resistant and the Hot Iron Holster up to 500 fahrenheit which is just as well! You’ll also find that all the Holsters have holes in the bottom of them to allow any moisture collected to run out rather than festering at the bottom like you sometimes get with a toothbrush holder – yuck! You don’t want that with your washing up brush do you?

When the Holsters arrived they were a little fluffy but that’s expected given the material they’re made of. However, they’re easily cleaned with water or rubbing alcohol. I just used water after I’d tried them out and they were absolutely fine, you just need to make sure they’re totally dry before you use them again.

I love that the whole range comes in all shapes and sizes as well as lots of different colours. They range from nice primary colours, to black to pastels and brights and appear to be really well made. It’s unlikely that they’ll break easily and should last you a very long time!

I’ve found several uses for them round the house; storing our washing up sponge, holding my straighteners and a super handy pen holder too!

These look really handy. Especially the one to hold your straighteners, perfect for keeping them out of my small persons reach! xx
