Mum of three, Jennifer, designed the Tidy Tot bib and tray kit when she was weaning her first child. The idea was to reduce the mess and stress of mealtimes. I resonate a lot with Jennifer here as both of my boys have both tried baby led weaning and have created utter food carnage in and around their high chairs.
The Tidy Tot is a coverall bib which attaches to a large tray in order to eliminate the gap between your child and their highchair. You can not even begin to fathom the amount of food that gets stuck down there until you actually take them out! Tidy Tot stops food falling onto their lap, getting on to their clothes, in all the crevices of the highchair and of course, the floor! When Ted eats Weetabix for breakfast he’s covered from head to toe, literally!
We’re a little ahead of the game now as any other food he manages to get in his mouth which is really good, but the Tidy Tot, which I saw for myself last year at The Baby Show will definitely save you a lot of washing up and a lot of cleaning down.
Tidy Tot have multiple awards under their belt and a rapidly growing list of retail listings. They’ve come such a long way from the home-made prototype of 4 years ago. If I do have another baby, this would definitely be on my list of ‘essential’ weaning products!
If you don’t want your kid’s Christmas dinner to end up on the floor this year then Tidy Tot have teamed up with me to offer one lucky reader the chance to win their very own! Can’t wait to see if you’ve won? Head over to Tidy Tot and get yours!
