Project 365 – Week 18

What a beautiful start to the week, it was so sunny and warm! Can you believe I wore a dress? Sadly there’s no picture evidence though. It turned pretty rubbish by late afternoon. However, we made the most of the sunshine by taking Toby to see Pop in the garden; he loves to help out! There’s nothing better than a wheelbarrow to collect some golf and tennis balls in, a spade and molehills to dig and kick over. We were hoping to go to the tea rooms just around the corner but never made it there, they couldn’t guarantee us a table so we went home for some rather late lunch instead.

Tuesday morning was spent at Toddler Sense where the theme was Salsa! There was lots of music, banging of pots and pans, dancing and jumping around. The lights went off and the light up foam batons came out for a baby rave followed by some pom pom shaking. One of my friends came round with her little girl and we had a nice little catch up as she’d be in Wales for a week.

On Wednesday, Toby went to Nanny’s and I popped to see my friend first thing in the morning. It was nice to have some conversation without both of us running around after a child each. I then did what I never do and that is to pop into town for something specific, and come out with some stuff I didn’t need and completely forget what I actually needed. Typical! Oh and then I had the most exciting afternoon ever doing the food shopping.

One amazing bit of news on Wednesday though is that I’m now a brand ambassador for Childs Farm! Wahoo.

On Thursday I met up with another friend, and Jamie came along too, at an indoor play centre. Toby absolutely loved it and kept going down the big twirly slide on his own. I obviously can’t go down them anymore as I don’t fit, and secondly I can’t hold on to Toby with my big pregnant belly in the way! He had a little bit of lunch there and fell asleep in the car on the way home – yippee! In the afternoon, daddy tried to work his ‘tiring out’ magic by playing football and catch with Toby in the kitchen. I also spent some time with Toby getting all of his toys out and his new obsession is possibly the most annoying red bus EVER!

The rest of the week has gone pretty quickly with not much happening. Toby had his last Water Babies session with me on Friday, and as of next week he’ll be starting on Saturdays with Jamie. I’m hoping that I’ll be able to watch until the baby comes. I spent most of Saturday just kind of pottering around and then we popped to Nanny and Pops house for a bit.

Toby’s been taken with climbing on the table at the moment and this is what he was doing yesterday. It’s basically the only way to read Gurgle isn’t it?

And today I am have a slobby, bloggy Sunday in my leggings and one of Jamie’s tshirts! Toby is off out this afternoon for a kick about on the beach, although he’s still napping at the moment! I’m off to cook toad in the hole for our lunch.. yummy! Have a great week!

    • It honestly was, I have a video but it’s a bit long to upload. She had a laser, a bubble machine, some other machine making shapes on the wall and ceiling, one of those rotating domes with lights on and the music was blaring! Oh the babies loved it haha. Thanks beauty xx
