Christmas Bonanza | Blossoming Gifts Luxury Christmas Hamper

Blossoming Gifts is quickly becoming one of my favourite ‘go to’ online shops for flowers, hampers and gifts and, after revamping their website recently, it’s been even easier to find the perfect gift.

Now, as we all know, Christmas is coming; there’s simply no avoiding it and, let’s be honest, why would you want to? I mean.. it’s Christmas! Anyway, every year I like to indulge in a few things that are a little more luxurious than what I’d usually have. After all, it’s the season of excuses and getting away with what you like because calories don’t count at Christmas, at least they don’t in my house.

When I’m off hunting for Christmas hamper luxury, not only do I love to get the staple items I love year after year, but I love to find products and companies that I might not have yet experienced and I find that hampers are the perfect way to have a bit of both. You can guarantee there’ll be some familiarity in them, but you can always expect a little extra something that you’ve probably never heard of before. And the Luxury Christmas Hamper from Blossoming Gifts is no different.

Set in a beautiful willow tray (not a basket) the Luxury Christmas hamper consists of;

  • Border Divinely Chocolatey Cookies – 150g
  • Buttermilk Irish Cream Fudge – 100g
  • Coles Figgy Christmas Pudding – 112g
  • Linden Lady Handmade Milk Chocolate Bar with Sprinkles – 100g
  • Oloves Chili & Garlic Ripe Black Pitted Olives – 30g
  • The Dormen Spicy Peanuts – 40g
  • Kintu Cabernet Sauvignon Maule Valley 2013 – Chile 37.5cl 13% vol

Each component of this hamper works so well together and is the perfect product to start your Christmas food shopping off. The cookies are literally beyond divine; they’re so chocolatey, crumbly and cookie like that they’re just perfection. The fudge is super lovely, really creamy and so tasty. Both of these go well with a cup of tea in the evenings.

The Christmas pudding looks and smells incredible although we are saving that for a bit closer to Christmas and the chocolate bar was so milky and dreamy. Plus it was from a company I’d never heard of, which I love, and will be looking into a bit closer to Christmas.

The two things that surprised me in this hamper were the Oloves olives and The Dormen’s peanuts. I really love both anyway but these were a nice little touch from companies I’d not heard of before. I love that the olives came in a handy snack sized pack and the peanuts are great to stuff into my bag for Christmas on the go, plus they were spicy and it just made them a little more festive.
