Last month was all about the love but this month our Bostik craft box was full of Easter goodies so that we can make a few Easter crafts. The boys were fascinated with the foam eggs but I don’t think I dare get the paint out just yet – not with two of them at a time anyway. So, we opted for a nice bit of cutting and sticking and here’s what we made!
What you’ll need;
1 x plain card
1 x envelope
Your child’s hand
Some sticky backed foam shapes
1 x Glue stick
Plenty of cut out flowers, eggs, rabbits, ducks and anything else Easter themed!
Here’s What To Do:
Place your child’s hand on the card and draw around it.
Once this has been drawn around, you can start placing your sticky backed foam shapes on. Once these are in place you can start adding your other shapes. Pop some glue down but just remember to keep it inside your child’s hand outline as best as possible. The idea is that it looks like another flower on the card.
Toby had so much fun sticking everything down until the card was full up! Once everything has been stuck down you should have a rather pretty looking card ready for writing in!
An Easy Easter Crown
What You’ll Need:
Some sticky backed shapes of your choice (Easter themed of course!)
1 x Bostik Fine & Wide Glu Pen
A piece of plain A4 card
A piece of geometric print card
Here’s What To Do:
Cut two rectangles from the plain A4 card lengthways. Roughly place these around your child’s head for an idea of size. Glue the rectangles together to create a longer length and leave to dry. While the glue is drying, cut some carrot shapes from your geometric card. Once the long band is dry, start adding your carrots and other shapes in equal spaces along the length of the plain card.
Continue to add these all the way round, glue your last ends together and your crown should fit perfectly! Super, super easy and the kids love it!
