Everyone loves a bargain, and where better to pick one up than at Aldi? I’m a self confessed, Aldi food shopping convert and most of the time go here for as much as possible. The only problem is, I usually get drawn to their ‘Specialbuys’, and I’m about to be even more tempted because next week, on the 28th May they’ll be stocking their baby and toddler specialbuys range (EEK!).
The first thing I spotted, especially with Summer right round the corner, is the UV infant playshade. Offering 50+ UV sun protection, I can’t wait to get this up in the garden. It comes with sand pockets to allow it to be weighed down, so it won’t end up against the fence if it’s a bit breezy, and comes in a carry bag which will be amazing for when we go on holiday in July. I can definitely see this becoming one of our beach essentials too. And what a snip at £17.99!
You can work some summer fashion with their quality range of maternity clothing. They’ll have everything from maternity briefs (£5.99 for a 3pk), nursing bras (only £9.99) to some really pretty maternity tops (£5.99)! You can feel like a yummy mummy, while being comfortable and staying super stylish.
Don’t forget the kids’ threads either! There’ll be sleep suits (£3.99) to an infant Summer jacket (£5.99). And if you tend to think ahead like me you should be able to pick up some toddler bargains such as Aldi’s great value leggings & joggers (£3.59).
The nursery isn’t going to decorate itself either, so make sure you stock up on some essentials such as a quilt and cot bumper set (£12.99) or a three drawer storage tower (also £12.99). You’ll also find everything from towels, to blankets, to muslins and soft toys. Books, bottles and booster seats, there’s plenty of reasons to get down to this event next Thursday at your nearest store, if you have one! Sorry if you don’t! Once it’s gone, it’s gone.. these events are one day only and stock is usually limited!
It’s not hard to see why Aldi keeps raking in the Loved By Parents awards! What will you pick up during this Specialbuy event?

Brilliant stuff
I love the fact that you can get maternity clothes in so many places now at a low cost. When I had my boys it was so expensive I made do and looked a tramp for both pregnancies….a whale sized red faced tramp…

I love Aldi too! Will definitely go and check out their kids bits! xx
