Last week I was tagged by a lovely blogger called Angela who writes over at Days In Bed, to write a post called “If I Could”. I do love these posts, mainly because you get to know me a bit better, and I usually surprise myself with the answers too.
Have any home
I’d like to think I don’t want anything too extravagant, and certainly nothing too big to clean – I struggle with my one as it is! I wouldn’t say no to 5 bedrooms, a couple of en suites maybe, a family bathroom and definitely a downstairs loo! An open kitchen with big folding doors leading out on to our garden. A cosy living room, preferably with no toys on the floor because of course these will be in the play room! A little gym wouldn’t go a miss either and of course a room for me to blog in! Most of all I would want my home to be a home.
Have any garden
Well since ours truly looks like a jungle at the moment I’d be quite happy to keep it big enough to kick a ball around in, but not so big that we can’t maintain it. A nice bit of lawn and then maybe a small division to the side or back so we could have a real vegetable patch – not like the pathetic ones we have here at th moment. Some nice flowers, but all in pots so that weeding is minimal! I’d love to have a little area where the boys could ride around on their tractors/bikes/scooters as they get older and some decking for the garden furniture in the summer!
Be on holiday right now
Oooh this a toughy! I actually wouldn’t mind being somewhere nice and warm right now. We’ve got two skiing holidays booked for the beginning of 2016 and, while I’m sure there’ll be some sunshine, I’m not so sure any sunbathing will be involved. I just feel like I need some vitamin D in my life – and a bit of sun wouldn’t go amiss after the atrocious ‘summer’ we’ve just had. I wouldn’t mind visiting somewhere like Bora Bora or Bali – that would make for some amazing scuba diving too, wouldn’t you agree?
Have any job
Easy! I’d love to be a midwife, or at least some sort of healthcare professional that deals with babies and/or small children. Hopefully one day I’ll be able to say I’m doing it!
Have any talent
The only one I can think of off the top of my head would be to able to just be really good at cooking. I’d love to be one of those people who can throw some chicken and pasta together with some herbs and a sauce and it literally taste amazing. I’d love to look in the fridge and see two or three ingredients with which I could think up a dish that would be worthy of a Michelin star.
Have any super power
I agree with Angela about invisibility but I think I’d prefer to be able to mind read – with an on/off button of course. I don’t want to hear ALL of your thoughts. I’d be a modern day Sookie Stackhouse, cool!
Now.. who shall I tag?
Faye from Tales and Tea
Ami from My Mummy Spam
Stacie from Parker and Me
Chantal from Milk and Nappies
Nicola from Nicola Says
Lisa from The Love of a Captain
Jenny from Monkey and Mouse

What a great post. I totally agree with the on/off button to read thoughts. Especially as I get evil looks whenever I use a disabled bay..i’d love to know what they are thinking lol! I love the idea of being a midwife. I find the whole baby pregnancy thing very interesting. Thanks for sharing the post with me.
