There is so much that we can do with chocolate these days that I’m surprised I haven’t used Morse Toad before. If you haven’t heard of them then they’re a chocolate messaging service. Say what? If you’ve ever wanted to send a little thank you, a congratulations, a well done or something like a ‘Happy Birthday’ then why not say it with chocolates, quite literally?
Morse Toad spell it out for you like no other company does. These Belgian chocolate messages by post are the perfect way to say what you mean in a very sweet way. But it doesn’t stop there! This Christmas I wondered what else I could use Morse Toad for and I’ve come up with a few ideas that I think you’ll absolutely love!
Morse Toad Stocking Fillers
Filling stockings are one of my favourite things to do. I always try and hunt out small enough things that the recipients will love but also things that aren’t just going to go to waste. Chocolates never go to waste in this house – much to my dismay sometimes! – but a little personalised chocolate never hurt anyone.
The Morse Toad stocking fillers are small enough to wrap, yet big enough to enjoy. With 7 blocks to personalise I opted to go for ‘HoHoHo’ with a star, though you could easily swap these out for names.

Fill Your Own Cracker
I am so excited this year to be doing my own Christmas crackers. It’s easy enough to still fit hats and jokes inside but finding things to put in there for individuals is pretty hard. Luckily, I bought some extra large ones and the Morse Toad stocking filler message fits perfectly inside! That’s not what I’m going to use them for this year though, although it definitely puts me in a good place to plan for next year!
Leave A Little Something For Father Christmas
I don’t know about you, but I think Father Christmas is sometimes a little bit tired of all those milk and cookies! Perhaps leave out something a little new this year. Morse Toad could help you leave out a little ‘HoHoHo’ stocking filler by the fire along with a glass of pink gin and lemonade. Well, that’s what the Father Christmas in this house would love anyway!
Using Them As Place Names
Step away from the typical place names of folded bits of card, baubles or luggage tags attached to sprigs of rosemary and use Morse Toad to help set the table this year. They’re perfectly boxed to show off the name and would look fantastic with a bow made from butcher’s twine wrapped round them. Perhaps you could still add that sprig of rosemary after all.

Present Tags
If you’re looking for an alternative to Christmas present tags that will inevitably end up in the bin, you could always attach a Morse Toad message to your presents. That way they’re a tag and a gift all in one and the recipient is sure to appreciate the little extra thought.
Secret Santa
The bane of life for a few people is thinking of a Secret Santa present for someone they either don’t like or don’t know very well (come on, we’ve all been there). Typically, an easy ‘go to’ is chocolate. Morse Toad basically cover you for the chocolate and because it’s personalised your Secret Santa recipient will think you’ve gone to a bit of trouble for them too. Win win!
I’d love to know which of these ideas is your favourite, and if you plan to use them this year!
