Christmas Bonanza 2017 | My Golden Ticket

One book that I read over and over again as a child was Charlie and The Chocolate Factory. My Nan had (and may still have) a navy blue, hardback copy of it in her front bedroom and I found it one night when I was sleeping over and I couldn’t put it down. I can transport myself back to that bed, to the smell of that book, to the light from the lamp and remember how I felt when I was reading it. I really want my boys to have those kinds of memories about books.

My Golden Ticket

‘My Golden Ticket’ is another instalment from the wonderful Wonderbly (previously ‘Lost My Name’) which will transport your child to Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory in true personalised fashion.

Each child gets their own unique adventure where they’ll uncover fantastic new rooms and get their own Wonka bar design at the end of the book. However, this isn’t just any old ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ copy with your child’s name plastered all over the inside!

Every name has a different story which means the length of the book will vary, they’ll get their very own Oompa Loompa song and a ‘Wonkafied’ family tree which means no two stories will ever be the same which I think is utterly incredible.

The lengths that Wonderbly go to really shows that they’re interested in putting the child at the heart of the story.

Personalisation

Getting your personalised book is really easy! Head over to the Wonderbly website where you can preview the story by entering your child’s first name, surname and choosing their sex. If you choose to go by the above link you’ll get £5 off your first book and I’ll also receive £5 to spend on my account – winner!

Wonderbly say this book is great for those aged 5-12 but I don’t believe there’s any age limit. This book is so wonderfully appealing and really draws out the imagination in everyone. It’s like when you read a book before the big movie release comes out – you can immerse yourself totally in what your own visions are and this one-of-a-kind book gives plenty of opportunity to do just that.

Wonderbly are also offering discounts in the run up to Christmas so keep an eye along the top of the webpage for codes you might miss.

A Visual Treat

Flicking through this book is a complete and utter visual treat. There’s colour, there’s vibrancy, there’s designs that are out of this world so even if your child isn’t up to reading this right now, there’s always something to look at. Wonderbly believe that the more fantastically real a story feels to a child, the more boundless their self-belief so let their imaginations run wild with ‘My Golden Ticket’.
