Izabela Peters Christmas Sack – Review & Giveaway

Christmas is drawing ever closer which basically means one little corner of my living room becomes over run with needles that have fallen off the Christmas tree, tons of wires for lots of lights and presents which will take up quite a lot of room! Obviously, I love to spoil Toby at Christmas and this year we’ve got Ted too, so it’ll be double the present fun.

So what better Christmas storage solution than a Christmas sack? A personalised one no less, and from Izabela Peters too. You may remember we reviewed one of their aprons a while back – could this be on your little one’s Christmas list this year?

As I’ve said many times before, I’m a sucker for personalisation and all things hand made so of course this was right down my street. We opted to review the royal stewart tartan sack and as soon as it arrived, I fell in love with it. It was bigger than I had anticipated and you can actually fit in more than you think. I find that fitting the smaller presents in helps with the space in our room, and is even better when transporting on Christmas morning – the big ones you can stack and it doesn’t end up taking so many trips to the car.

The quality of the sack is amazing. It’s a nice thickness; not so thin that it feels like a bin bag, but not so thick that most of the inside is taken up with material. Considering that the sacks are designed, handmade and then personalised all in the same place, it was in my hands within a few days which is amazing. Lots of companies really like to drag the whole thing out, but Izabela Peters just seem to be able to get on with it and supply the customer!

Another fab thing about these Christmas sacks is that they are machine washable. Hallelujah! Considering these only come down once a year, lots of things aren’t washable and tend to end up with the ‘musty loft’ smell. These can be freshened up and won’t take an age to dry either!

These Christmas sacks come with a drawstring and even a handy little loop on the back which allows them to be hung up on door handles and bed knobs if you really wanted to. They all come in 3 sizes; medium, large and extra large. You can even get matching stockings for some of them. If you have a look at the website, you’ll also see that there are lots of designs, and not all of them are your standard festive, red and white print; there is the option of a lime green penguin print or a vintage rocking horse print, lovely if you’re looking for something alternative.
