Today’s post is a tag that the lovely Leah from ‘Leah and Two’ tagged me in and it’s ’20 things I love about my child’. I think it’s a great way to get to know more about a blogger, and it’s also a great way if you’ve got a little void to fill in your blogging schedule.
My tags are:
Grainne from Hope From a Butterfly
Shona from Training Mummy
Alice from New Young Mum
Anna from Play At Home Teacher
Emma from My Little Star & Me
This is how it works;
List 20 things you love about your baby/children (add a picture too if you like). Mention the person who tagged you within your post, and tag 5 more mums or dads to get involved and do the same. Share it via Twitter, tagging the person who tagged you, and the people you have chosen to tag. How much parental love can we surface with this tag?
Here is my beautiful boy Toby at 18 months. He’s the one who has heard my heartbeat from the inside, and the one I will love unconditionally for the rest of my life.
1. Just look at that smile.. it’s enough to melt away any bad mood
2. The way he wraps his arms around your neck for a cuddle, and then gives you a little pat on the shoulder
3. The big opened mouthed kisses
4. He’s recently started calling for us when he’s awake in the morning
5. The way he’s turning into a proper little boy – he absolutely loves playing football
6. Speaking of which, the way he can drop kick a ball at 18 months old (thanks Uncle Joshy)!
7. Watching him interact with other children. He loves giving them cuddles.
8. Recently he’s interested in food preparation, so I love sitting him up on the side next to me so he can watch.
9. The way he says “gone” and then puts his arms out.
10. Seeing him give his Daddy a big cuddle or kiss without Daddy having to ask for one!
11. He’s always very “busy” or interested in something, unless Ben & Holly is on.
12. Pouting when he doesn’t get his own way or gets told that he’s being naughty
13. The way he blows raspberries on my tummy when I ask him what’s in my belly
14. I love when he goes through a development spurt and will suddenly do lots of new things in the space of a few days
15. He adores being outdoors. Just lately he’s starting banging on the patio door when he wants to go out – I love kids that don’t want to be stuck inside.. roll on some better weather!
16. I just know he’s going to be such a good big brother.
17. His appetite, usually, is fantastic. He wouldn’t stop eating if we had a buffet out all day, I’m sure of it.
18. The look on his face when he sees his Pop. We all get very jealous, but it’s the cutest thing ever.
19. His confidence in the water is incredible. I love watching him in the bath and in the pool.
20. Watching him grow up.
There are, obviously, more than 20 reasons for any parent to love their children and this is by no means an exhaustive list of what I love about Toby. I could’ve given you 200 if you’d asked me.
Having Toby is the most amazing feeling ever. What are 20 things you love about your children?

Such a beautiful post – love the 20 things you’ve shared about Toby and that photo is beautiful – what a gorgeous smile he has. It is lovely when they put their little arms about you and those big open-mouthed kisses are just the best! Love the way he blows raspberries on your tummy too – so adorable 🙂
What a lovely post! Toby is clearly a very lovable little boy x

Thanks lovely 🙂 I really enjoyed doing it. Toby doesn’t say it yet but if I ask him if he wants to watch it he comes running into the room and gives me the remote haha x
